Bisque head character face with glass eyes, closed mouth and very nice face detail with a metal body mounted on a mechanical horse, which is also metal with a hide covering, and featuring black bead eyes, open mouth, leather bridle and mohair mane and tail. The key-wind mechanism still works and moves the legs as the horse gallops along. The man is well costumed and looks like it may represent George Washington.
