.50 percussion with a 7" barrel. Custom built in the finest tradition of an English heavy barrel Dragoon. Features full heavy octagon barrel, swivel metal ramrod, sash hook, engraved lockplate, hammer, trigger guard, metal butt and screws, with beautifully checkered and incised walnut stock. Barrel is engraved "C.F.R.". Gun remains in beautiful condition with a couple of minor chips at lockplate. Small 1/2" hairline crack at hammer. No maker stamp. This pistol weights 3lbs 1oz. There are no other marks on this pistol. It is unclear when exactly it was manufactured. It does have some age and is in beautiful condition.
