This is a charming example of Steiff's early and fully jointed mohair cat. She is fully jointed - including her tail! Cat is made from tan mohair which has been hand striped with black lines. She has black and green glass slit pupil eyes and a simple pink hand embroidered nose and mouth. These fully jointed and early Steiff items are just fantastic, and seldom seen on the secondary market. This fully jointed cat was produced overall from 1908-1927. Given her appearance, construction, and very small long trailing "f" Steiff button, she is most likely from the earlier portion of that time frame. Condition: As noted. In good vintage condition typical to her age. She retains most of her mohair and presents in the most adorable way possible. She has a few very minor home repairs and her tail could use a stuffing infusion.
