With IDs. This tiny Steiff Ted is fully jointed and made from blonde colored mohair. He has a very long and narrow torso. His limbs and feet are also long and thin, typical to early turn of last century Steiff proportions. Ted's face is detailed with tiny black bead eyes and a black hand embroidered nose and mouth. He has an absolutely adorable and classic presentation - the one Steiff lovers can't seem to get enough of! This pattern was made in 14 sizes ranging from 10 to 115 cm from 1905 through 1933 overall. His appearance and proportions suggest that he was made at the very beginning of this time frame. Teddy retains his small long trailing "f" button and traces of his white ear tag as his Steiff IDs. Provenance: From a fine Connecticut collection. Condition: As noted. In very good condition with light, general playwear overall.

Item Dimensions: 3 - 3/4" T.
