5" barrel in .45 ACP. Manufactured in 1918. This pistol bears the Augusta Arsenal rebuild stamp on left side of frame. Has all original World War I period parts with the exception of a later style rear sight and replaced barrel. Pistol retains approximately 98% of the reapplied high polish blue finish with sharp legends, with the exception of some softening to the word "Property" on the left side of frame. Sports a mint set of replacement diamond checkered walnut grips and later style magazine. Very good bore. Perfect action. Extremely handsome 1911.
