24" barrel in .30-03 caliber. Manufactured 1904. This is a standard Winchester Model 1895 lever action rifle with blued finish, walnut stock, and rifle buttplate. Forend has the black ebony insert. Rear sight is a Model 1886 folding ladder sporting sight. Rifle retains approximately 90% of the reapplied blue finish with sharp legends. Stocks are very good to excellent with some minor chipping at rear top tang, some added finish (having been refinished at one time), and shy at lower tang. Strong clean bore. Fine action.
