.32 Winchester Special caliber with a 20" barrel. Manufactured 1942 to 1948. This is a factory short rifle or carbine that has the special short front sight ramp only used on this model. Other features include full round barrel, half magazine, blued finish, pistol grip walnut stock with flutes, checkered steel buttplate. Rear sight blank is filled. This rifle sports the Lyman receiver peep sight. There is light high edge wear to blue on frame as well as the muzzle and magazine cap, but still retains better than 95% original factory blue. Walnut stocks are near mint with no cracks or chips. Fine bore and action. Has the rounded crown at muzzle. Very rare high condition Model 64 short rifle seldom seen, especially in this condition.
