.30 WCF caliber with a 20" barrel. Manufactured 1935. This is a factory short rifle or carbine that has the special short front sight ramp only used on this model. Other features include full round barrel, half magazine, blued finish, pistol grip walnut stock with flutes, and checkered steel buttplate. The deluxe model also includes checkering on the forend and pistol grip with the Winchester logo grip cap and sling eyes on forend cap and buttstock. Rear sight blank is filled. This rifle sports the Lyman receiver peep sight. This rifle remains in near mint all original condition, showing virtually no signs of any use, retaining 99% original factory blue throughout with only a couple of minor storage rubs. Deluxe walnut stocks are near mint with razor sharp checkering and no cracks or chips. Near mint bore and action. Has the rounded crown at muzzle. It would be nearly impossible to find a finer condition deluxe Model 64 short rifle. Worthy of an original box.
