.25-35 WCF caliber with a 24-1/4" barrel. Manufactured 1935. This early Model 64 is virtually unknown to the collector world in the .25-35 caliber and nearly impossible to find. Features include full round barrel, half magazine, sporting rear sight, hooded ramp front sight, blued finish, pistol grip walnut stock with flutes, and checkered steel buttplate. This rifle remains in excellent all original condition. Barrel retains generous amounts of original blue finish, starting to thin. Tube and forend retain the majority of the original blue. The frame and bolt retains most of the original blue on top and sides, thinning to brown patina at base from carry. Walnut stocks are excellent, well-fitted, flush to metal at tang, with no cracks or chips. Strong bore. Perfect action. One of the great rarities in Winchester collecting.
