.30 WCF caliber with a 24" barrel. Manufactured between 1943 and 1948. This is an early Model 64 manufactured during or right after the second World War. Standard features include full round barrel, hooded ramp front sight, Winchester sporting rear sight, half magazine, blued finish, long tang, plain pistol grip walnut stock, and checkered steel buttplate. There is a hint of high edge muzzle wear at the end of tube. Still retains at least 98% of the original factory finish. Frame exhibits light high edge wear in spots, a couple minor storage marks. A couple of the screws have been marked from tightening. Wood is excellent, proud to metal, with no cracks. Beautiful finish. Fine bore and action. It is getting extremely difficult to find these high condition war-era Model 64 rifles and they do not come much nicer than this offered example.
