.32 Winchester Special caliber with a 20" barrel. This deluxe carbine was manufactured sometime between 1942 and 1948. These deluxe carbines are rarely seen and are easily identifiable by the short barrel, rounded crown, and the short 1-3/4" ramp front sight base with hood. Other deluxe features include the checkered walnut forend and pistol grip stock with flutes, Winchester composite pistol grip, and checkered steel shotgun buttplate. Factory rear sling eye and factory sling eye on forend cap. There is a touch of muzzle wear, some high edge wear on tube, and minor carry wear on bottom of frame and high edges, but still retains easily over 95% or better of the original factory blue finish with razor sharp legends. Walnut stocks are excellent, proud to metal, with no cracks or chips. Fine bore and action. These deluxe carbines were manufactured in very limited quantities and for a very short time and are rarely encountered in any condition.
