23" barrel in .22 rimfire caliber. The Model 42M was manufactured from 1940 to 1944. It features a two piece full stock, bolt action, magazine fed, with ramp front sight, standard sporting rear sight, and a receiver aperture sight. The buttplate has a trapdoor for an extra magazine. Rifle comes with one magazine. The aperture sight is a Mossberg S100. The entire gun has been expertly restored. Metal retains virtually all of the reapplied high polish blue finish. The walnut stock is near mint and highly finished. Fine bore and action.
