.22 LR caliber with a 28" barrel. Made in 1940. This popular, high quality target rifle was manufactured the last year before the war. It features the blued finish with the high profile hooded target front sight, scope blocks, and long range rear receiver sight. Walnut stock is unadorned, features pistol grip with the fine checkered Niedner-style steel shotgun buttplate. It is a bolt action, magazine fed, and comes with sling swivels. Walnut stocks are near mint. The bluing is near perfect, does not even exhibit any muzzle wear. Fine bore and action. A superb early bolt action target rifle.
