.22 rimfire caliber with a 24" barrel. Offered is a lovely deluxe, case colored, pre-war Marlin model 39 lever action rifle. Features full octagon barrel, full magazine, blued finish, case colored lever and frame, sporting front and rear sights, sling swivels installed, plain walnut stock with pistol grip, and Marlin logo buttplate. There is a star on the tang. All legends are sharp as new. Octagon barrel has razor sharp edges and retains approximately 95% original blue finish with high edge muzzle wear. The tube and forend cap retain virtually all of the original factory blue. Frame retains nearly all of the original case colors, most still brilliant. Lever shows traces of color with definitive pattern. Pistol grip stock is near mint with no cracks. Tiny chip at toe of buttplate. Rifle has a tang sight. Strong bore and perfect action. Beautiful early war case colored Marlin Model 39.
