Shows heavy use with scratches, surface rust and dark areas. 3) 1879 Anglo Zulu ax with provenance. Ax 6-1/2” x 23” shaft. Remains of wire bands on shaft with aged patina Recovered from the battlefield Khambula, Zululand by a Farrier-Sergeant in the Frontier Light Horse. Includes hand written note with photo copies of the history.
