10" barrel in caliber .22 LR caliber. Manufactured 1928. Approximately 2,488 Camp Perry single shot target revolvers were manufactured from 1920 to 1941. They are unique in the Colt line in that there is no cylinder. It is a single shot, single action only pistol. Left side of breech block is stamped "Camp Perry Model". Has an adjustable target rear sight, flat top frame, high post front sight, blue finish, with checkered walnut grips and checkered backstrap. In addition, both the hammer and trigger are checkered as well. This revolver has seen use, still sports its original factory finish. The front sight blade is a replacement. All legends are sharp. The barrel retains most of the blue on top and bottom but has silvered out on both sides. Frame retains approximately 80% blue, thinning on all high areas with age spotting and thinning on trigger guard and grip straps. Breech block retains approximately 80% blue, thinning on all high edges. Grips are very good with wear. Strong rifled bore. Fine action.
