These two pieces of plate armor do not come from the same cuirass. The breastplate is larger, heavier, rimmed in leather, and has no brass ornamentation. It also has a slight dent on the midline from a musket ball. The patina on the back plate looks very similar to the breastplate. It is also rimmed in leather. It has brass domed rivets on the edges. It has holes drilled for shoulder straps and a belt, none of which are present. The lower right corner of the back plate has been pierced sometime after its manufacture.

Condition: (Good).

Item Dimensions: 16"H x 13-1/2"W x 14"D
MISMATCHED CUIRASS.
