These two pieces of armor have similar styles, but do not come from the same cuirass. The smaller breastplate features a two tiered brass sunburst, brass domed rivets and a hook at the navel. The larger back plate has a much darker patina and heavier pitting from oxidation. The brass rivets anchoring the intact leather waist belt have a dark patina, while the other brass rivets along the edges and shoulder anchors are bright and shiny. The shoulder straps have wide leather and twin brass chains leading to latches for pectoral anchor rivets that don't exist on this breastplate.
