3" barrel in .41 rimfire short caliber. The Type II was introduced in 1888. This popular Deringer has a hinged frame from which the barrel tip upwards and there is a manual ejector. Pistol retains approximately 60% original factory nickel and sports a pair of period ivory grips. Grips are in excellent condition having darkened with age. The missing nickel finish is a smooth brown patina. Rifling is visible, but worn. Action is perfect. A nice honest example of a 19th century large caliber Deringer. Popular with gamblers of the era.
