This sword was manufactured by Dufilho of New Orleans. Information on this maker can be found in the book on Confederate swords. 32-1/4" blade that exhibits age toning and some minor nicks. Leather handle exhibits some chaffing with original wire wrap. Solid one-piece brass handguard and pommel that has never been cleaned. This rare Confederate sword remains in its 'attic-found' untouched condition. Does not have a scabbard.
