Made by Collins & Company. 30-1/2" etched blade with patriotic motifs and intertwined U.S. ricasso dated 1862. Silver grip with perfect wire. Shark skin scabbard has brass patriotic mounts in excellent condition. Minor wear to drag. Middle brass mount has the old Pennsylvania state seal. Very rare and ornate Civil War Pennsylvania sword.
