The doll dressed in white is a socket head with head incised "DEP 8" and also bearing the remnants of a red stamp reading "Tete Jumeau". She has blue glass sleep eyes with lower painted lashes and remnants of silk upper lashes, open mouth with four teeth, and on the original French wooden composition body bearing a paper label reading "Bebe Jumeau". There are pull-strings in the torso which allow her to say "Mama" and "Papa". She has a very nice blonde mohair wig. The doll in two-toned blue is an open mouth German turned shoulder-head girl with reset blue glass eyes on a leather gusseted body with bisque forearms. She has a lovely blonde antique mohair wig and has been appropriately redressed. Both heads are in good condition; 'DEP' doll needs restringing and there is some repaint to the body, especially on lower arms and hands.

Condition: (Good - Very Good).

Item Dimensions: Each: 19" T.
