Comprised of: 1) Breastplate and Tassets. These three pieces of plate armor have extensive oxidation and pitting. Each tasset has two hinges connecting it to the breastplate and one is damaged on each. On the inside of each piece is evidence of repair by an armorer. 2) Ceremonial Buckler. This small, hand-held shield is highly decorated and relatively light. Oxidation has thinned the metal enough that there are small holes in the middle. Leather straps have broken off and one of the punched holes has torn out. 10" Diameter. 3) Reproduction Sallet. This piece of plate armor protects the neck and jaw. Made in India. 11"H x 8"W. 4) Piece of Helmet. This unidentified part of a dome shaped helmet has a stem on top. Heavily oxidized on the inside. 9" Tall.
