24" barrel in .30-06 caliber. This rifle was manufactured September 1942-December 1942. Barrel is dated SA-3-42. It has the proper type 2 lock bark rear sight. Has a TE reading of 3.5. Bolt is number D28287-12SA (proper). Heat lot number is SA10. Stock has the DOD 3 star cartouche in a box 1-1/2" so stock is post 1953. Trigger assembly is stamped D28290-7-SA (proper). Wrist has the proof P with serif's. Barrel is finsihed in a matte blue. Frame is a military phosphate green. Bolt is a military phosphate blue. Floor plate is gun metal gray. Trigger guard is phosphate green. Has a tan canvas sling. Typical rebuild, majority of parts dating from 1942.
