This lot consists of four E. Miller & Co brass colored buckets. On the base of three of the four buckets is the stamp from E. Miller & Co. Two of the four buckets have measuring lines on the interior. All of the bucket’s handles are attached with two pieces of copper on each side. The bucket that bears “E. Miller & Co. Meriden Conn. Pat. Aug. 11. 1868. Pat. Apr. 27. 1869. Pat. Mar. 15. 1870.” stamped on the base. This bucket also has “10” stamped on the exterior of either side where the handles are attached. This bucket is approximately 6-7/8 x 10-3/4 inches. The buckets where the stamp on the base has been worn off are approximately 7-1/8 x 11 inches and 6-3/8 x 10-3/4 inches. The larger bucket does not have measuring lines on the interior. The brightest bucket, in color, is approximately 6-1/4 x 10-3/4 inches. None of these measurements include the handles. The other bucket is much brighter in color and has measurement lines on the interior. That bucket, without the handle, is approximately 6-1/4 x 10-3/4 inches. These buckets are in good condition however, they have many dents and scratches on the interior and exterior. Only one of the buckets seems to rest flatter than the rest, however they all wobble. The handles have lost their shine and are worn. One bucket is much more tarnished than the rest.
