This lot contains two stoneware pottery pieces, a pitcher and a small bowl. The pitcher is made of a basket weave design with blue, cream and a yellowish brown glaze, with the interior being a whitish cream color. On both sides of the pitcher, there are two blue flowers on a stem with leaves that is glazed brown. There is a small foot on the base of the pitcher that is unglazed. The pitcher is approximately 8-½ x 6-½ x 5-¼”. The small bowl’s glaze on the inside is a whitish cream, matching the pitcher. The exterior of the bowl has a blue and white spotted glaze with a design containing circles and lines. There is also a lip at the top of the bowl and a small foot at the base. However, this foot is glazed. The top and bottom of the lip are unglazed making them a slightly brownish color. The bowl is approximately 5-¼ x 2-¾”. The pitcher has some wear to the glaze. The base of it has a few divots in the clay and one place where the glaze appears to have chipped away. The foot on the base also is a bit discolored and worn. The bowl has some wear to the glaze and there are places where it has chipped off. On the base of bowl, there are spots where the glaze has chipped, and in some places it has chipped off.
