This lot consists of a pair of matching Dietz brass lanterns with handles. At the very top of the lantern is a small lever used to raise the glass so that one is able to get to the wick, which has been cut in both of these. On the lid of the glass, L. w. Tubular. US. Brass., is stamped on both. Also present on both of these lanterns, Dietz U.S. Tubular is stamped into the glass, however one of the lanterns also has New York. U.S.A. stamped under the previous stamp. They both have knobs as well. One of the knobs has Dietz Tublar NO stamped on it. On the base of each, are the following stamps: Patents May 23 ’71, July 26 ’81, March 13 ’83, June 6 ’85, and Oct 26 ’86. Including the handle both lamps are approximately 14-3/4 inches, without the handle they are approximately 11 inches tall. Both are in good condition; however, one base is a brighter brass than the other. It appears that both lanterns had some repairs done to the top. Air bubbles are present in the glass. Minimal dents and scratches.

Condition: (Very Good - Excellent).

Item Dimensions: Each: 11'' T.
LOT OF 2: BRASS LANTERNS.
