This lot consists of a pair of brass lanterns with handles. The very top of the lanterns are domed with holes for the heat to escape from the flame. One of the lanterns is a bronzish-gold color and the other is a reddish-brown color. The bronzish-gold lantern still has some wick present and the wick holder is triangular in shape. On the knob of this lantern, Meriden. E. Miller & Co. Conn. is stamped. The same stamp is present on the other lantern however it’s more worn than the bronzish-gold lantern. Including the handles, the lanterns are approximately 16-1/2 inches tall, without the handles the brownish-red lantern is approximately 11-1/2 inches while the bronzish-gold lantern is approximately 11-3/4 inches tall. The bronzish-gold lantern does not rest flat and wobbles. Overall that lantern is in good condition with the exception of minor scratches, dents and wear. The brownish-red lantern has some tarnish with dents and scratches. Neither handle is a perfect circle.

Condition: (Good - Very Good).
