28" barrel in .30-06 caliber. The basis for this custom Springfield target rifle was a standard World War II issue Smith Corona frame built in 1943-44. It was rebarreled with a full heavy round target barrel with recessed muzzle. The rifle has two scope blocks mounted on barrel at front and rear, along with one mounted on top bridge. It is scoped with a high quality Lyman 10x Super Target Spot serial No. 10811. Bolt has been jeweled. Frame and barrel retain 98% of the custom applied blue finish. Scope has adjustment lines and is near mint. Scope has standard crosshairs, fine optics, and has the metal screw-on lens caps. Rifle sports a custom walnut stock with flat forend and rail for adjustable weights. Pistol grip Monte Carlo stock with undercut rollover cheek piece and solid red rubber recoil pad. Black composite pistol grip cap. Stock has channel grooved in comb for bolt. Fine bore and action. An extremely well-made high quality bench rifle with top of the line scope.
