The first gun is an old Model 760 pump action rifle with 22" barrel chambered for the rare .257 Roberts cartridge. The .257 Roberts was only manufactured from 1955 to 1958. Serial No. 231751. Features blue finish, ramp front sight, folding rear sight, pump action, magazine fed, grooved walnut forend, plain pistol grip stock with aluminum buttplate, and sling eyes. Mounted with a Tasco 3x9 scope. Standard crosshairs and perfect optics. Aside from slide bar and arm, barrel retains approximately 90% original factory blue with muzzle wear. Frame shows wear on all high edges and base from carry. Stock is very good with usual dings and varnish loss, but no cracks. Very good bore and action. The second gun in this lot is a Remington Model 141. Serial No. 2073. 22" barrel in .35 Remington caliber. This rifle was manufactured 1935 to 1950. Features full round barrel, 2/3 twist magazine, sporting front and rear sight, rear sight replaced, takedown, blued finish, grooved flat bottom forend stock, and plain pistol grip walnut buttstock with Remington checkered steel buttplate. This model has the Remington cartridge head on left side. Wood is excellent with no cracks. 80% receiver blue, thin on base and high edges from carry. Barrel has muzzle wear and wear at last 2" of breech. No case colors on arm. High edge wear to magazine. Fine bore and action.
