Serial # 902576 Barrel length 5-1/2", .30 Mauser. Not technically a Chinese Broomhandle in that this pistol was manufactured at the Mauser factory in Germany. It has the German imperial proofs with a Mauser legend on top of bridge with Mauser banner on left panel. Left side of magazine housing has three Chinese characters. The gun is in overall excellent condition, retaining approximately 70% of original finish, it has a light area under barrel from holster, a few areas of scattered salt and pepper, right side of framed is stamped "WAFFENFABRIK MAUSER OBERNDORF A. NECKAR D.R.P.A.P." Very good bore and action. The back strap has some corrosion. It comes with a reproduction Chinese wooden holster and carry strap. Given the hard use of most of the Chinese contract Broom Handles, this one is in very nice condition.
