7-1/2" barrel in .44 magnum caliber. The Super Blackhawk was introduced in 1959 and featured adjustable rear sight, solid non-fluted six shot cylinder in .44 magnum caliber with square trigger guard and blue finish. This revolver was manufactured in 1968 and is standard in all respects with the exception of the replaced grips, the Herrett Shooting Star target grips. This revolver has been used, cylinder has a drag line with high edge wear, high edge wear at muzzle. Still retains 98% finish. After market grips are excellent. Fine bore and action. Comes in a period red and black box numbered to gun in grease pencil with proper end label.
