29-1/4" barrel in 7.57mm caliber. Manufactured 1908-14 by DWM with a GEW 98 action. Has matching numbers on frame, trigger guard, stock, and bolt. "73" on floorplate. Frame is in the white with proper crest. Fire blue on rear sight and bolt release. 90% or better blue on barrel. 70% on floor. 50% on rear band. Buttplate and forend are patina. Wood is excellent with bruises. Fine bore and action. A very nice, early example.
