24" barrel in .30-06 caliber. Manufactured in 1951. It is a standard grade rifle. The bolt has matching etched serial number at base. Rifle sports Weaver mounts and what appears to be a Weaver scope with standard crosshairs and clear optics. Rear sight has been removed. Features blued finish, ramp front sight with hood, checkered steel buttplate, checkered pistol grip walnut stock. Barrel has approximately 75-80% thinning blue finish. Frame has high edge wear. Floorplate and trigger guard have 30% blue. Stock is very good to excellent with usual dings and no cracks. Has a 1/2" compass set into comb. Strong rifling. Good action.
