20" barrel in 12 bore. This shotgun was manufactured in 1924. It was manufactured as a standard civilian 20" barrel, cylinder choke riot gun. Sometime during its life a trench handguard and bayonet assembly was added and a sling swivel added to butt. The gun has no military markings of any kind. This is a solid frame. The handguard is of the six row variety and is stamped "M6" on left side of lug. All metal furniture is blue with grooved walnut corncob forend and plain pistol grip walnut stock with original Winchester logo black composite buttplate. This gun has seen use. Retains approximately 60% original blue overall with balance blending to brown patina. Handguard shows wear with raw metal showing through. Military style sling with two steel frogs has been installed. Forend is in excellent condition. There is some chipping at lower left wrist of stock and numerous dings and marring. Clean bore. Perfect action. All original mid-20's solid frame factory original riot gun with handguard and sling swivels added.
