The Thompson/Center Contender is a break-action single shot pistol introduced in 1967 by Thompson/Center Arms, and this frame was manufactured in 1983. The frame of this gun has an engraved cougar scene on both sides and sports the longer two screw forend and rear rubber padded grips. Included are a set of wooden grips and single screw forend. There are four barrels included a 14" in .22 LR with Leupold mounts and a Simmons 4x32 scope mounted, 14" in .223 Remington drilled and tapped for sights or scope mounts, 10" in .22 Hornet drilled and tapped for scope mounts, and a 21" in .30-30 Winchester with front sight and adjustable rear sight. All barrels are in very good condition with bright shiny bores, all retaining 95% or better original factory blue with light wear. Grips and forends have minor dings and handling marks. This set comes wrapped in a T/C padded soft case.
