The Thompson/Center Contender is a break-action single shot pistol introduced in 1967 by Thompson/Center Arms, and this frame was manufactured in 1979. The frame of this gun has an engraved cougar scene on both sides. Grips are checkered with an aluminum plate on the bottom with an engraved cougar head. Includes two checkered forends; one for round and one for octagonal barrels. This set includes five barrels a 10" in 44 magnum, 10" octagonal ported in .45 long colt, 10" octagonal in .30-30 Winchester, 10" octagonal in .22 long rifle and a 10" octagonal in .221 Remington. All bores have strong rifling and are clean and shiny. Only real visible wear on gun itself is on the trigger guard which is a blue brown patina. All bores are 99% or better all barrels have storage dings 99% blue on stocks. Easily changed barrel system, allows endless combinations with one frame.
