The Thompson/Center Contender is a break-action single shot pistol introduced in 1967 by Thompson/Center Arms, and this frame was manufactured in 1969. Checked grips and forend. Includes four octagonal barrels: 10" in .22 Hornet with a Leupold M8 2x20mm scope mounted, 10" ported in .44 magnum with scope mount, 10" ported .45 Colt with adjustable sights, and a 10" in .357 magnum with adjustable sights. Stocks are excellent with high edge wear. Frame retains virtually all of the original factory blue finish. The exposed area of blued barrels retains 99% or better finish on each one with most of the wear marks evident under forend.
