Rare Tiffany & Co. Black Onyx & Pearl Brooch Watch
with 18k yellow gold bezels, links, hinge and pin w/original
box. Circa 1878. Outer gold bezel is set with seed pearls.
Case measures 37mm across, and is 4.5 inches in
length. One pearl is missing at the 10 position.
Hairline crack to onyx at link/hinge. Exhibition back.
Fine Swiss mechanical wind movement, unsigned.
Black enamel dial with white Roman numerals.
Original Tiffany & Co. fitted box reads: “Tiffany & Co.,
New York, Ave. De L’Opera 36 Bis, Paris, Grand Prix,
Exposition Universelle, 1878”. Hinge and outer skin of box
worn. Inside of box is in great condition. (Excellent)
