4-1/4" barrel in .442 centerfire caliber. Retailer P. Webley & Son London & Birmingham. This exact style revolver can be seen on page 38 in the book "Webley Solid Frame Revolvers" by Black, Ficken, and Michaels. Features octagon barrel, six shot, double action, smooth cylinder, two piece checkered walnut grips with diamond, and a half moon front sight. Grips are very good. Metal is a grey-brown patina with no original finish. Indexes perfectly both single and double action. Strong clean bore. These sturdy English double action revolvers were popular in the 19th century. The No. 1-1/2 is basically the same as the Pug but in a larger caliber.
