20" barrel in .44-40 caliber. Popular Spanish copy of the Winchester Model 1892 Saddle Ring Carbine manufactured by Garate Anitua in Eibar, Spain. Has all the typical features found on a Winchester carbine. Tang is stamped "Tigre". Has carbine folding ladder rear sight, dovetail front sight, two barrel bands, full magazine, saddle ring and stud, walnut stocks, and carbine buttplate. Buttplate is stamped 31177. Wood is very good, slightly shy to metal with sling eye in buttstock and another on rear barrel band. Fine action. Strong rifled bore.
