30" barrel in .30-40 Krag caliber. Standard Model 1898 U.S. rifle with upgraded 1902 rear sight. All legends are sharp. All metal is a soft patina. Handguard is excellent with no cracks. Stock is excellent with perfect "J.S.A. 1899" cartouche. Fine action. Excellent bore. Comes with an 1898 dated Krag bayonet but no scabbard.
