12 bore. Barrel length 30" blued barrels with solid matte rib, doll's head extension and single silver bead, marked with typical Parker barrel markings on rib. Left barrel is "improved modified", right barrel is modified. 2 - 1/2" chambers. Casehardened, box lock action with engraved borders and marked, "Parker Bros" on each side. Plate on bottom of action engraved with scrolls in center and borders. Extractors, automatic safety, double triggers and engraved blued steel trigger guard. Straight, plain walnut stock with checkered wrist. LOP from front trigger to maker's hard rubber buttplate is 14 - 1/8". 1 - 1/2" drop at comb, 2 - 1/2" drop at heel. Has a small vacant German silver shield escutcheon behind trigger guard. The highly figured splinter fore-end has a Deeley release. Condition is very good, as refinished. Re-blued barrels retaining perhaps 90% finish with edge wear and some thinning near breeches, some wear at muzzles and scattered marks from use. Action retains approx. 80% of redone case colors with the finish worn behind breeches, edge wear and scattered spotting. Trigger guard retains approx. 98% blue. Stock with sharp checkering and large areas of losses to finish. Excellent, shiny bores.
