24" barrel in .38-55 caliber. Features full octagon barrel, button magazine, sporting sights, pistol grip checkered walnut stocks, and black composite buttplate. Only the outline is visible on checkering of forend. Buttstock checkering is wearing thin. Barrel is 2" shorter than standard. Bottom of barrel has two drilled holes. Original sporting rear sight. Barrel retains approximately 80% original finish with high edge wear. Receiver has flaked to gun metal grey. Fine action. Very good rifled bore. Toe repair in stock and a small crack at pistol grip. Very nice special order Winchester Model 1894 rifle.
