28" barrel in .38-55 caliber. This deluxe rifle features full octagon barrel, full magazine, original sporting front and rear sight, checkered walnut forend, and checkered pistol grip walnut stock with rifle butt. Stocks are very good, proud to metal, not cracked, some varnish loss and wear to checkering. Frame is a gun metal grey with some minor age freckling. Barrel exhibits sharp legends. Retains approximately 60% original blue with some age freckling and high edge wear on barrel flats. Tube is a grey-brown patina with freckling. Fine action. Strong rifled bore. Nice, clean, honest, untouched rifle that needs a trigger as this one has had the tip broken off.
