This lot consists of two early bronze dishes done in the arts and crafts style. Each bronze has a pattern on the exterior. The taller of the two, is a cylindrical vase with a hammered finish with an abstract spear at the base. This bronze tapers towards the top and its edge bevels towards the base where the hammered pattern disappears. On the base of this piece is stamped “St A F” encircled with what appears to be a teakettle inside of a mountain with an ore on either side of the mountain in front of a lake. This piece is approximately 7-3/4 inches tall, 3-1/8 inches at its widest, and 1 5/8 inches at the opening, the narrowest part of the vase. This lot has some scratches to the patina. There are also several spots of oxidation along with a spot of sticker residue. The seam of the bronze is intact. Dents and some cracks are present at the top of the vase. The second bronze is a bowl with two small handles on either side. This bronze’s design consists of four rows of a bean-shape stamped into the bronze, approximately an inch wide. The bronze tapers towards the top. On the base of the bronze, it appears that there is a circular stamp with “AFC” stamped inside of an oval. However, this stamp is slightly faded and doubled. The crock is approximately 4 x 3-7/8 inches at its narrowest. At the items widest, it is approximately 5-1/4 inches. This crock's base is not flat, making it wobble. There is much oxidation to this piece along with scratches and wear to the exterior. There are also several places where the item was dented. The interior of the crock is rusted.
