This lot consists of a pair of hurdler bookends. They are reminiscent of the Olympic bookends by J. L. Lambert Griffoul, however these are unsigned. These bookends have a hammered finish with a hurdler that is mid-jump in the center of each bookend. Each bookend is 6-7/8 x 2-7/8 inches. These appear to be in good condition with the patina still intact. There are some inconsistencies in the hammering and pit marks. The back and underside of the base of both bookends are much darker than the fronts and do not have a high shine finish.
