This lot of porcelain German man and woman figurine resemble those of Meissen figurines. On the base of each, slightly hidden on the inside of the base are blue crossed swords however one of the crossed swords is doubled. Pencil markings can also be found on the base. The base of both figures has a gold pattern and each figure stands on a slightly green and brown ground with a tree stump. Both figures are approximately 11-1/2 inches tall and wear colonial attire. The woman looks slightly to the left while holding a rooster in one hand and a duck in the other. Under the duck, is a cage with a dove resting on top. The male figure has his left leg slightly bent resting on top of the tree stump. His left hand rests on the cane, which also rests on the stump. Next to his right leg there is a sack full of red apples and a basket full of apples and grapes. On this same side, he holds a basket full of flowers. Both figures have air holes visible for the air to escape the porcelain during firing. Overall these figures are in good condition. However, both have some discoloration and marks on the porcelain. Also under the basket that the male figure holds, is a small spot deficient of glaze. There are some rough spots on these figures and sharp edges. There is slight wear to the base where it is not glazed.

Condition: (Very Good - Excellent).
