Serial # 266727 & 712960 Gun A: Remington Model 12, serial #712960, has a 24” full octagon barrel, take down, blued finish, grooved for-end, pistol grip walnut stock, steel butt plate, original Remington sights, razor sharp edges and legends. All metal is a pleasing blue brown patina. Stocks are excellent with no cracks or chips. Strong clean rifling, fine action. Manufactured 1909-1936 and is considered a Model 12C. Gun B: Winchester Model 1890, serial #266727, manufactured in 1906, 24” octagon barrel, chambered for the .22 short, pump action, take down, walnut stocks, original Winchester sights, sharp edges and legends, blued bolt, barrel and tube are a soft blue brown patina, original stocks are excellent, proud to metal, no cracks, period half plate model with a nickel finish frame and butt plate, never cleaned. Retains 80% of the nickel with some freckling, bottom tang patina, never polished. Rifling visible but worn. Action perfect.
