Caliber is .32 S&W. Barrel length is 3 - 1/2". Revolver is referred to as the New Model second issue. Manufactured 1868 to 1875. Chambered for the .32 RF long cartridge. Features: round barrel with rib, five shot fluted cylinder, blued finish, two piece walnut bird's head grips, and spur trigger. Frame retains approx. 75% high polish blue finish. Barrel has silvered along sides, retains most of its blue in flutes. Cylinder is soft blue/brown patina. Grips are excellent. This is a tip up. Cylinder indexes perfectly, strong clean bore, and good case colors on hammer. These revolvers are far less common in factory blue finish.
